<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device with desired holding capacity and less display unevenness due to irregularity on a surface of a pixel electrode, an electronic appliance including the same, and a manufacturing method for the electro-optic device. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device as an electro-optic device in this example includes on an element substrate 10: a transistor; a pixel electrode 15 provided in accordance with the transistor; and a capacitor wire 3b provided so that a part thereof faces the pixel electrode 15 between the element substrate 10 and the pixel electrode 15 and holding capacitance is formed via the pixel electrode 15 and a dielectric layer 14. The capacitor wire 3b is formed so as to be embedded in an insulation film 13 provided between the element substrate 10 and the pixel electrode 15, and its surface on the pixel electrode 15 side is flattened together with the insulation film 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
