<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high temperature resistant air filter capable of maintaining the shape of a filter part and reducing or maintaining pressure loss even when a filter medium area per filter volume is high at 50 to 65 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>for coping with a high air flow rate. <P>SOLUTION: A high temperature resistant air filter comprises a zigzag filter part that includes a filter medium formed of a glass fiber sheet not having a binder and heat resistant nets between which the filter medium is disposed. The filter part is housed and fixed to the inside of a frame in a state where a heat resistant seal material maintaining the air tightness of the filter medium and the frame is disposed between the frame and upper and lower edge portions of the filter part, and a filter medium area per filter volume is set to 50 to 65 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>. The high temperature resistant filter is characterized in that: the filter part is horizontally inserted between a pair of comb-shaped pressing plates at the upper and lower edge portions of the filter part from upstream and downstream sides of an air current; and pairs of comb-shaped spacer plates are arranged between the upper and lower comb-shaped pressing plates at intervals of 90 to 120 mm so that the filter part can be horizontally inserted therebetween from upstream and downstream sides of an air current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
