<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a data reception side from performing a cooperation function undesired by a user of a data transmission side in the cooperation between devices. <P>SOLUTION: A device cooperation unit 222 of a PC 2 requests a setting information file from a mobile phone 3, and a device cooperation unit 322 of the mobile phone 3 transmits the setting information file to the PC 2.
