摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise of an image while expanding a depth of field. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises a photographic optical system 101, an imaging sensor 201, and an image processing part 203. The photographic optical system 101 comprises an aberration control element 103 which generates predetermined aberration. The photographic optical system 101 forms an optical image. The imaging sensor 201 generates an image signal corresponding to the optical image. The image processing part 203 performs image processing on the image signal so as to improve deteriorated image characteristics on the basis of the predetermined aberration. An aberration control element 103 reduces the response of the optical transmission function of the photographic optical system 101 in first spacial frequency lower than the Nyquist frequency of the imaging sensor 201 to a possible minimum value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
