DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TREATING VOC-CONTAINING GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent clogging or corrosion in a heating means for heating VOC-containing gas using treated gas treated by a catalyst reactor as a heat source, while preventing temperature unevenness of the VOC-containing gas supplied to the catalyst reactor, even though the cost is low and energy is saved.

SOLUTION: Mixed gas C is obtained by mixing gas A containing VOC and air B heated by an air heating means 5. Some mixed gas E out of the mixed gas C is branched to a bypass passage 11 and the remaining mixed gas D is heated by a mixed gas heating means 10. The heated remaining mixed gas D and the mixed gas E branched via the bypass passage 11 are mixed and treated by reaction with catalyst by a catalyst reactor 16. The treated gas G treated by the catalyst reactor 16 is supplied to the mixed gas heating means 10.
