<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic toner for stably obtaining, by suppressing tailing and lowering of image density, a copied image of a copy of a printed matter printed under a high-temperature high-humidity environment after being left unattended for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic toner includes magnetic toner particles containing a binder resin and magnetic iron oxide, and silica fine particles. The magnetic toner has a dielectric loss factor of 0.50 pF/m or more and 0.90 pF/m or less at 40°C, 100 kHz. The silica fine particles are subjected to surface treatment by silicone oil.
