THERMOELECTRIC CONVERSION UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion unit having a member which can be easily connected to wiring provided on a substrate.

SOLUTION: A thermoelectric conversion unit 1 comprises: a case 4 in which a channel 4a2 having an open structure is formed; an electrode member 6 which is partially embedded in the case 4; a first substrate 2b which covers an open portion of the channel 4a2; a second substrate which is opposed to the first substrate 2b; a thermoelectric conversion element 2a arranged between the first substrate 2b and the second substrate; an insulating layer 2b2 formed on the first substrate 2b; and wiring 2b3 which is provided on the surface of the insulating layer 2b2 and is electrically connected to the thermoelectric conversion element 2a. The first substrate 2b has an opposing portion 2b7 which is opposed to the case 4. A substrate hole 2g is formed through the opposing portion 2b7. The case 4 integrally has a projection 4d which is inserted in the substrate hole 2g. The electrode member 6 has: an embedded portion 6a embedded in the case 4; and a connection 6b which extends from the embedded portion 6a to the outside of the case 4 and is electrically connected to the wiring 2b3.
