A process for producing reduced iron powder in two steps, comprising: using pellets reduced by blended coal, or a mixture consisting of iron block ore and blended coal, or iron carbide briquettes as a furnace burden, and treating the furnace burden for dryness; then placing the furnace burden into a heating device for heating to reach 1,000-1,300 °C, heat for the heating being from CO supplied by a reduction furnace in a reduction procedure, and the heating device having its own coal injection and combustion system used for heat supplement as required; and then placing the furnace burden into the reduction furnace and heating same to reach 1,300-1,500 °C for reduction treatment; and finally, cooling, pulverizing and regrading the reduced furnace burden, to provide the finished iron powder. This greatly reduces emission of CO and decreases energy consumption in the process.
|
