<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-plate type drive force transmission device reducing a rotation loss caused by resistance of lubricating oil. <P>SOLUTION: In this multi-plate type hydraulic brake 60, a fixed plate 35 which is disposed radially inward of a second cylindrical wall 44 having an inner peripheral surface 44a formed with a plurality of inner teeth 44b and which is formed with a plurality of outer teeth 35b respectively engaged with the plurality of inner teeth 44b, and a rotating plate 36 rotated relatively to the fixed plate 35, are alternately laminated in an axial direction and fastened to each other through their opposed friction surfaces, and at least some of a first friction plate and a second friction plate are positioned in a lubricating oil storage part T.
