<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn capable of improving the touch and comfort of a woven fabric and clothing using polyester fibers. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to a yarn containing siliconized microdenier polyester fibers and macrodenier fibers. The blending ratio (weight ratio) of the siliconized microdenier polyester fibers to macrodenier fibers in the yarn is approximately in the range of 10:90 to 90:10. The macrodenier fiber of the yarn is selected from the group consisting of a synthetic fiber, a natural fiber, and a combination of synthetic and natural fibers.
