PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for automatically collecting and presenting useful information in which a user is interested through the Internet.

SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes: means for collecting and storing article information through a network; means for storing interest keyword information that includes a keyword in which a user is interested; means for storing friend information on a user in a community formed through a network; means for selecting article information on the basis of a coincidence degree calculated by a feature word included in the stored article information and a keyword; means for acquiring evaluation of a friend of a user on the selected article information; and means for extracting article information selected by using the acquired evaluation of a friend as a scale and presenting the information as recommendation article information.
