<p>This circulation device comprises an electrolysis tank that retains cooling water, at least one pair of electrodes disposed inside the electrolysis tank, a voltage source that applies voltage across the pair of electrodes, a switching device that is connected to the voltage source and switches the polarity of the pair of electrodes, and a discharge pipe that leads outside of the cooling water circulation pathway from the bottom of the electrolysis tank. The cooling water circulation device is provided with an electrolysis device that carries out electrolysis treatment that deposits scale components in the cooling water retained in the electrolysis tank onto one of the pair of electrodes by applying the voltage across the pair of electrodes, exfoliates the scale deposited on the electrode by reversing the polarity of the pair of electrodes and applying a voltage across the pair of electrodes, and also discharges the exfoliated scale components to the outside of the cooling water circulation pathway along with cooling water in the electrolysis tank via the discharge pipe.</p> |
