The present invention relates to the technical field of communications, and relates specifically to a method, system, and device for acquiring wireless local area network configuration information. In the method provided in the present invention for acquiring the wireless local area network configuration information, on the basis of a first registration message transmitted by a network element of a mobile network, where the first registration message comprises the wireless local area network information corresponding to a current location of a user equipment and the identity information of the user equipment, a discovery-selection functional entity of an access network records a mapping relationship between the wireless local area network information corresponding to the current location of the user equipment and the identity information of the user equipment. By employing the method provided in embodiments of the present invention, the discovery-selection functional entity of the access network is allowed timely acquisition of the mapping relationship, thus is capable of providing the user equipment with the wireless local area information of the location where the user equipment is at.
