<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector that opens or closes an exhaust shutter by interlocking the opening/closing of a lens shutter used for protecting a projection lens and that keeps the exhaust shutter open in a mute state in which the lens shutter is closed. <P>SOLUTION: The projector comprises: a lens shutter position detecting part 15 configured to detect whether the lens shutter 4 is located at an opening position, closing position, or mute position; the exhaust shutter 7 provided so as to open or close an exhaust port 6 in the projector 1; and an exhaust shutter opening/closing bar 9 configured such that the exhaust shutter 7 is closed when the lens shutter 4 is at the closing position, the exhaust shutter 7 is opened when the lens shutter 4 is at the opening position, and the exhaust shutter 7 is not moved when the lens shutter 4 is moved to the mute position from the opening position or closing position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
