<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device having a simple component shape which can precisely set an impact absorbing load during a secondary collision without increasing the number of components and assembling man-hours. <P>SOLUTION: When an inner column 12 is internally fit to an inner peripheral surface 112 of an outer column 11, the inner peripheral surface 112 of the outer column 11 and a first axial projection 21 are interference-fitted. When an interference of the interference fit varies, a second axial projection 22 is elastically deformed and the variation of a fastening force for fastening the first axial projection 21 by the inner peripheral surface 112 of the outer column 11 becomes small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
