<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a displacement element causing inclination of a nozzle array from an inclination detection pattern formed in a recorded medium, and to correctly detect the inclination of the nozzle array. <P>SOLUTION: When the inkjet head 4 moves to one side in a scanning direction, a first inclination detection pattern 50a including two straight lines 51a, 52a in parallel is formed in a recording paper 100 by a first nozzle group 41 and a second nozzle group 42 comprising one row of the nozzle array 20. When the inkjet head 4 moves to the other side in the scanning direction, a second inclination detection pattern 50b including two straight lines 51b, 52b in parallel is formed in the recording paper 100 by the first nozzle group 41 and the second nozzle group 42.
