摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partial renewal construction method of a shell plate for towers and vessels, capable of reducing distortion, strain, or residual stress due to welding, in the case that a large cylindrical shell plate constituting a part of the shell plate for towers and vessels is divided into a plurality of cylindrical shell plate parts in vertical direction for the renewal. <P>SOLUTION: A renewal construction method of a large cylindrical shell plate part 200 constituting a part of a shell plate 1 of a main distillation tower includes dividing the large cylindrical shell plate part 200 to be renewed into a plurality of cylindrical shell plate parts 2 in vertical direction, and repeating the steps of partially cutting the cylindrical shell plate part 2 in circumferential direction for removal and attaching a new divided plate to an opening 6 formed by the removal so as to sequentially renewing each of the cylindrical shell plate parts 2. In the step of renewing the cylindrical shell plate part 2 adjacent to a renewed cylindrical shell plate part 2, the cylindrical shell plate part 2 partially cut in circumferential direction is removed, such that an end portion 201 adjacent to the renewed cylindrical shell plate part 2 is removed including a weld zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
