<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma welding apparatus that can correctly position the distance between a torch and a workpiece (workpiece to be welded). <P>SOLUTION: A plasma welding apparatus 10 which welds a workpiece supported by a positioning mechanism includes: a first base member 11; a second base member 12 which can move in one direction horizontal to the first base member 11; a third base member 13 which is horizontal to the second base member 12 to be able to move in the direction perpendicular to the one direction; a torch holder 15 provided on the third base member 13 to support a torch 21; and a torch position setting jig 16 provided on the third base member 13 to have a contact switch 20 at the edge for correctly setting the distance between the torch 21 and a workpiece 22. So it is possible to correctly set the distance between the torch 21 and the workpiece (workpiece to be welded) 22, to properly preheat the worksheet, and to perform quality welding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
