<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve parking support by appropriately deciding a parking space where the own vehicle can park. <P>SOLUTION: Data for parking concerning the boundary of the parking space is constructed with consideration of the movement of the own vehicle, from the ranging data obtained in the laser radar part (S100, S110). The candidate of the parking space is searched based on the data for parking (S120) and when the candidate is searched (S130:YES), whether the parking space is larger than the size of the own vehicle is determined (S140), and the parking space to be induced is decided (S150). In a word, the size of the parking space is specified from data for the parking based on the ranging data.
