A plurality of fluid-filled chambers (40) may be incorporated into sole structures of articles of footwear. The chambers (40) may be configured to be substantially diamond-shaped. The chambers may lie within cavities (35) formed by a lower surface (34) of the midsole (31) and may extend into apertures (36) in the outsole (32). The apertures (36) in the outsole may be aligned with the cavities (35) of the midsole. The chambers (40) may be bounded by bounding regions (41, 42) between and at the perimeter of the chambers. The bounding regions may be formed of a polymer foam material of the midsole. The chambers may additionally be connected (44).
