PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for reducing inter-cell interference in a wireless communication system are provided to reduce inter-cell interference by defining interfaces and signals for controlling the interference. CONSTITUTION: A home eNB(NodeB) measures the uplink signal of MUE(Macro User Equipment) and the uplink signal of HUE(Home UE)(S1410). The HeNB allocates grants to the HUE for enabling the HUE to transmit a control signal to an MeNB(Macro eNB)(S1420). The HUE transmits the CS to the MeNB(S1430). The MeNB controls the downlink transmission power for the MUE or reduces interference(S1440). The MUE controls the uplink transmission power.
