<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and stably produce a polycarbonate resin excellent in thermostability, hue and mechanical strength with less foreign matter. <P>SOLUTION: A specific dihydroxy compound having -CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-O- site is used as a dihydroxy compound of raw material, a polycarbonate resin obtained by polycondensation thereof is filtered by use of a filter having an aperture of 50 μm or less, discharged in a form of strand from a die at a temperature of 200°C or higher and lower than 280°C, and cooled and solidified, whereby the polycarbonate resin is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
