<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding method between metallic members, by which metal particles which are spattered out of laser welding parts as spatters are prevented from scattering into surrounding areas. <P>SOLUTION: In the laser welding method in which a welding part 24 between metallic members 18a1, 19d is irradiated with a laser beam LB, the laser welding part 24 is covered with a cover 25a made of a resin transmissive to the laser beam LB and the laser welding of the part between the metallic members 18a1, 19d is performed by irradiating the welding part 24 with the laser beam LB through the cover 25a. As the cover 25a made of the resin having transmissibility to the laser beam LB, a gap 26 is formed between the cover and the laser welding place 24, and bringing the cover into contact with the metallic members 18a1, 19d at the surrounding of the welding part 24, the gap 26 may be maintained in a hermetically closed state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
