PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid fuel manufacturing method in which the holding calorie of an organic sludge or the mixture of the organic sludge and a plastic is made to remain in the solid fuel more, and the stench of the solid fuel can be decreased, and to provide an apparatus thereof, and the solid fuel.

SOLUTION: (1) The solid fuel manufacturing method includes a heating deodorizing process in which the organic sludge is heated in a vacuum condition to be deodorized. (2) The solid fuel manufacturing method includes a deodorizing process in which the mixture of the organic sludge and the plastic is brought into a vacuum condition to be deodorized. (3) The solid fuel manufacturing apparatus includes a deodorizing device in which the mixture of the organic sludge and the plastic is brought into a vacuum condition to be deodorized. (4) The solid fuel manufacturing apparatus includes a heating deodorizing device in which the organic sludge is heated in a vacuum condition to be deodorized. (5) The solid fuel is manufactured by the solid fuel manufacturing method of (1) or (2) or the solid fuel manufacturing apparatus of (3) or (4).
