<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire having improved durability. <P>SOLUTION: A tire is provided that is made using a rubber-cord composite made of a polyester cord and rubber as a reinforcing material. The polyester cord is formed by polyester filaments twisted together and then adhesion-processed by an adhesive composition. A polyester filament is a fiber made of polyester containing ethylene terephthalate as a main repeating unit and having intrinsic viscosity of not less than 0.85, and formed of a polyester fiber in which a terminal carboxy group amount in the fiber is not less than 20 equivalent/ton, a long period by small-angle X-ray diffraction is 9 to 12 nm, and a surface treatment agent having an epoxy group adheres to the surface of the fiber. The adhesive composition contains resorcin, formaldehyde, rubber latex, an emulsion polymerized blocked isocyanate compound, and ammonia.
