<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a honeycomb structure, which can reduce consumption of a foam resin used as a pore-forming material, and in which a shape of a honeycomb molding is hardly deformed. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a honeycomb structure includes: a body preparing step of kneading a molding raw material containing a ceramic raw material, the foam resin and water to obtain a body; a molding step of extruding the obtained body into a honeycomb form to obtain the honeycomb molding; and a calcination step of calcining the obtained honeycomb molding to obtain a honeycomb structure. An increase in density of the foam resin is 0.15 g/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>or less at the body formation in a predetermined kneading test. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
