<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a run-flat tire that improves run-flat durability performance. <P>SOLUTION: A reinforcing cord layer which employs a cord obtained by twisting polyester filaments together and treating them with an adhesive composition is arranged. The polyester filaments are formed of polyester fibers which include polyester having ethylene terephthalate as main repeating units and assuming specific intrinsic viscosity in which the amount of terminated carboxy groups and the long period according to small-angle X-ray diffraction fall within specific ranges, and in which a surface treatment agent comprising an epoxy group adheres to a surface. The adhesive composition includes a specific thermoplastic high molecular weight polymer, a specific water-soluble polymer, a compound that is selected, for example, from reaction products obtained by making a thermally-dissociative blocking agent react with diphenylmethane diisocyanate and an isocyanate group, and an aliphatic epoxide compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
