<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently collect transfer residual toner, paper dust or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In an intermediate transfer unit according to the present invention, a cleaning unit includes: a cleaning brush roller for performing cleaning processing of toner remaining on a transfer belt; a collecting roller for collecting toner adhered to the cleaning brush roller; a blade for scraping off toner adhered to the collecting roller; a delivery mechanism including a screw member for delivering toner scraped off; and a rotatable pre-brush roller that is located upstream of the cleaning brush roller and facilitates collection of the toner remaining on the transfer belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
