<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular brake apparatus which is capable of determining the malfunction of a negative pressure detecting means with a simple arrangement. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicular brake apparatus 11 includes a fluid pressure detecting means 38 for detecting a master cylinder pressure or a wheel cylinder pressure, a negative pressure estimating means 26 for calculating an estimated value PmpE of a negative pressure of a negative-pressure-type booster 20 based on the master cylinder pressure or the wheel cylinder pressure which is detected by the fluid pressure detecting means 38, and a malfunction detection means 26 for detecting the malfunction of a negative pressure detectingg means 40 by comparing the estimated value PmpE of the negative pressure estimated by the negative pressure estimating means 26 and a detected value PmpS of the negative pressure detected by the negative pressure detecting means 40 with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
