The element (2) has an air duct thermally cooperated with photovoltaic cells and a heat carrier spacer. The air duct is attached to an exhaust air spacer (9) of a heat exchanger (7) of a building ventilation system. The heat carrier spacer is coupled with a long term storage (31) and a heat pump (10). A partial module (11) is individually replaceable and provided for thermal usage of solar energy. Another partial module (13) is arranged on an isolation block between the former partial module and a third partial module (12). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a solar system.
