<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for describing a needle. <P>SOLUTION: The method and device for describing the needle are provided. The method for describing the needle includes a step for alternately collecting one needle frame in succession to one organization frame at a certain time interval to form a frame sequence, a step for spatially synthesizing the frame sequence and a step for outputting an image frame obtained from spatial synthesis. Further, the device for describing the needle is equipped with a collection means, a means for spatial synthesis and an output means.
