<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for making it possible to start an operation support even not in the matching state. <P>SOLUTION: In a map matching process for specifying a matching link which is the link corresponding to a vehicle existing road section, the matching link is determined whether it is in the matching state specified with reliability higher than a predetermined reference, or not, and a present position of the vehicle is detected and when the matching link is not in the matching state, a candidate link for specifying a link corresponding to the road section nearest to the present position as the candidate link is specified, and a plurality of links are connected to an object node which becomes the determination object, and also when the candidate link is changed to another link from one link among the plurality of links, a passed state of the vehicle through the position indicated by the object node is determined, and when the determination is made that the vehicle is passed through the position indicated by the object node, an operation support predetermined as the operation support after the vehicle is passed through the position indicated by the object node, is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
