<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of thinning a lens barrel by shortening the optical-axial length of the lens barrel in retraction. <P>SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes: a holding frame 301 that is disposed movably in the optical axis direction with respect to lens units 201 to 203 and holds an image pickup element; a drive ring 207 that is disposed between a cam barrel 206 and the holding frame 301 and rotatably provided while in contact with the cam barrel 206 in the axial direction; conversion means 207e and 301d that is provided between the drive ring 207 and the holding frame 301 and converts the rotary movement of the drive ring 207 to the movement of the holding frame 301 in the optical axis direction; an energizing member for energizing the cam barrel 206 and the holding frame 301 in the direction of clamping the drive ring 207 therebetween; and a pushing member 205 for, when the lens units are fed in the retraction position, pushing, along with the holding frame 301, the drive ring 207 against the energizing force of the energizing member, in the direction separating from the cam barrel 206. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
