<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development device and an image formation device capable of correcting a detection result of an electrostatic capacitance detection section and acquiring accurate liquid level information. <P>SOLUTION: A development device comprises: a development container to store liquid developer containing toner as well as a carrier; a liquid developer supply pipe 370Y to transport the liquid developer to the development container; a capacitance type liquid level sensor 410Y which detects electrostatic capacitance and has a storage section 401Y to store the liquid developer, a first sensor electrode 421Y provided inside the storage section 401Y, and a second sensor electrode 422Y which is provided inside the storage section 401Y and arranged opposite to the first sensor electrode through the liquid developer; and a density adjustment section which adjusts toner density of the liquid developer and has an inlet of the liquid developer supply pipe to allow the liquid developer to be sucked into the liquid developer supply pipe 370Y and a density sensor 460Y which is arranged vertically below the inlet and detects the toner density in the liquid developer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
