<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for banking, excellent in compression strength. <P>SOLUTION: The structure for the banking consists of a foamed molding which comprises the fusion product of a plurality of foamed resin particles comprising a polystyrene-based resin component and a toluene-insoluble gel component originated from a styrene monomer and a monomer having 3-10 vinyl groups and ester groups in the molecule. The foamed molding contains the toluene-insoluble gel in an amount of 1-70 mass%, has an absorbance ratio (D<SB POS="POST">1,735</SB>/D<SB POS="POST">1,600</SB>) of 0.1-2 at 1,735 cm<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>and 1,600 cm<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>obtained from an infrared ray-absorbing spectrum near the foamed resin particle interface measured by ATR method infrared ray spectrum analysis, and has a lower absorbance ratio (D<SB POS="POST">1,735</SB>/D<SB POS="POST">1,600</SB>) of the foamed resin particle center by ≥0.6 than an absorbance ratio (D<SB POS="POST">1,735</SB>/D<SB POS="POST">1,600</SB>) near the foamed resin particle interface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
