The device has a radially compressible and radially expandable recanalization element (10), and an operating element (20) e.g. guide wire (21) and/or coil (22), connected to the recanalization element such that the recanalization element is movable within a body hollow organ e.g. blood vessel, by the operating element. An elastic element (15) couples the elements such that movement force applied on the recanalization element is damped or attenuated, where the force acts along axial direction and/or circumferential direction in proximity to the recanalization element. The elastic element comprises a tension spring or a torsion spring. An independent claim is also included for a delivery system.
