<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-filled ferrite carrier having favorable strength and excellent charging stability in long-term printing while maintaining advantages of a resin-filled carrier, and to provide an electrophotographic developer using the resin-filled ferrite carrier. <P>SOLUTION: The resin filled ferrite carrier for an electrophotographic developer is obtained by filling vacancies of a porous ferrite core material with a resin. The resin filling the vacancies is a silicone resin containing an amino silane coupling agent. In the measurement of a surface of the resin for filling vacancies by a secondary ion mass spectrometer (TOF-SIMS), the intensity of N atoms satisfies a given condition.
