<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage caused by a collision between a drill and a grinding wheel in the detection of a relative position between the drill and the grinding wheel. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic drill tip processing machine includes a main shaft 1 arranged freely movably in a predetermined direction and having a chuck holding the drill W being a processed material, the grinding wheel 4 arranged freely movably in the predetermined direction and giving machining for forming honing at the tip of the drill held by the main shaft, and a driving mechanism for moving the main shaft and the grinding wheel in the predetermined direction. The automatic drill tip processing machine further includes a measuring probe 3 arranged integrally with the main shaft and arranged in a positional relationship parallel to a drill mounting axis in the chuck, imaging cameras 20, 21 arranged in the moving range of the main shaft and imaging the drill held in the chuck and the measuring probe, and a control means obtaining the imaging information of the drill and the measuring probe from the imaging cameras and the driving information from the driving mechanism, and sending information for forming the honing at the tip of the drill by the grinding wheel to the driving mechanism based on the information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
