<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink composition for a ballpoint pen which does not cause ink leakage, permit light writing and imparts preferable writing feeling, even when a pen point is left upside down in a high humidity environment. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous ink composition for a ballpoint pen comprises at least water, colorant, a xanthan gum and polysaccharides having a weight-average molecular weight of 5,000 to 50,000, wherein the polysaccharides are galactomannan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
