<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of abbreviating an imaging interval while maintaining the stability of a performance for reading out image data. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 comprises: a CMOS image sensor 110; a focal plane shutter device 190; a position detection sensor 195; and a camera controller 140. A charge gear 40 of the focal plane shutter device 190 transmits a drive force generated at a shutter motor 46 to a shutter mechanism 191. A position detection sensor 195 detects a position of the charge gear 40. The camera controller 140 controls a timing when the shutter motor 46 starts charging on the shutter mechanism 191 based on a position of the charge gear 40 detected by the position detection sensor 195. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
