<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic component for olefin polymerization and a catalyst for the olefin polymerization, capable of obtaining a polymer having good physical properties in a high activity, and a method for producing a polyolefin by using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This catalytic component for olefin polymerization etc., is characterized by comprising an ion-exchanging layered silicate salt, satisfying the following character 1 and character 2. The character 1: Mean pore diameter measured by the nitrogen adsorption method of the ion-exchanging layered silicate salt is 2 to 6 nm. The character 2: The fine pore volume of pores having the pore diameter within 2 to 6 nm range, measured by the nitrogen adsorption method, of the ion-exchanging layered silicate salt is ≥0.14 ml/g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
