<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high efficiency contactless charger that does not transmit excess power. <P>SOLUTION: The contactless charger includes a charger communication section for receiving information from a device communication section for communicating a charge state of a secondary battery of a portable device from a charge control circuit for controlling a charge to the secondary battery; is configured to control the drive of a control circuit for controlling the amount of electrical power, according to the information acquired by the charger communication section, supplied from an input section wirelessly transmitted from a wireless power transmission section; and can determine that there is an anomaly and stop charging when the amount of required electrical power transmitted from a cradle to the portable device in the process of contactless charging is compared to required electrical power amount information transmitted by the charge control circuit and is equal to or less than a reference value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
