<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an erroneously recognized character, which has been processed and confirmed by character recognition already once, to be re-input by handwriting from the continuation of the handwriting trace data at the point of the erroneous recognition. <P>SOLUTION: The handwritten character input device of the present invention acquires, by reverse lookup, stroke information for reference use which has been retained by a recognition engine 115, on the basis of the erroneously recognized character data which has been processed and confirmed by the character recognition already once, to enable handwriting input of the character from the continuation of the acquired stroke information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
