Provided is a wireless base station device capable of sufficiently exerting an effect to improve the usage efficiency of wireless resources even when the number of user terminals multiplexed to the same wireless resource increases. A wireless base station device for establishing a communication by using a first resource region for a downlink control channel that was time-divided and a second resource region for a downlink data channel, the wireless base station device being characterized by having: generation units (307, 308) for generating a first notification signal for the notification of the number of OFDM symbols in the first resource region and a second notification signal for the notification of the commencement position in the time direction of a third resource region obtained by frequency-dividing a section of the second resource region; and a multiplexing unit (312) for multiplexing the first notification signal to the first resource region and for multiplexing the second notification signal to the third resource region.
