<p>An ink formulation that includes a reversible color-developing complex formed from a dye precursor molecule having a triarylmethane derivative structure modified with a leaving-group (L) that disassociates from said dye precursor when subjected to environmental conditions of either a neutral or acidic pH value is described. Also the invention pertains to diagnostic indicators or absorbent personal care products that have the ink formulation applied to at least a part of the product.</p> |
