PURPOSE: A device for detecting a water leakage of a water supply pipe is provided to precisely detect a leak position by installing a regulating unit in a body moving along a flow of a fluid within a water supply pipe and making the movement of the body free. CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting a water leakage of a water supply pipe comprises a body(10), a camera, a regulating unit(30), a rotation sensor(40), and a controlling unit. The body moves in the water inside the water supply pipe. The camera is installed in the front inside of the body and photographs the inside of the water supply pipe. The regulating unit is provided in the body and drives the body by rotating. The rotation sensor is installed inside the body and senses the rotation of the body by the regulating unit. The controlling unit controls the camera, the regulating unit, and the rotation sensor. The rotation sensor comprises an encoder and a weight plumb which prevents the rotation of a rotary shaft so that the encoder senses the rotation speed, rotation amount, and rotation angle of the body.
