PURPOSE: An isolator and a transfer method of culture materials are provided to control the property change of culture materials. CONSTITUTION: An isolator (10) comprises a processing chamber, a storage chamber(23), a first opening portion(60), a second opening portion(61), a first door, and a temperature controller(73). When an incubator(15) is installed in the isolator, the first opening portion penetrates a culture room of the incubator and the working area. The first door blocks the second opening portion in order to shut a receiving chamber. The culture material taken out from the incubator is stored in the receiving chamber. When the receiving chamber is shut tightly, and the incubator is removed, the temperature controller controls the temperature of the culture material.
