PURPOSE: A strain which produces aglycovancomycin is provided to highly produce aglucovancomycin without production of vancomycin. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing an aglucovancomycin-producing strain comprises: a step of preparing a glycosyltransferase gene-deleted vector prepared by connection of one or more sugar chains to aglycovancomycin moiety containing heptapeptides; and a step of conjugating the vector to a same strain and transforming. The strain is a vancomycin-producing strain, balhimycin-producing strain, MM47761-producing strain, or orienticin-producing strains. The aglucovancomycin-producing strain is Amycolatopsis orientalis KCTC11913BP. A method for preparing an aglycovancomycin derivative comprises a step of performing chemical or enzymetic method using the aglucovancomycin-producing strain.
