PURPOSE: A rotating device for welding a car body of a railway vehicle is provided to prevent injury to a worker by allowing the worker to perform flat position of welding in a stabilized position. CONSTITUTION: A rotating device for welding a car body of a railway vehicle comprises a rotating jig(10), a support frame(20), a drive roller(30), a first drive motor(40), and an elevating unit(50). The support frame is installed under the rotating jig to support the rotating jig. The drive roller is installed in the support frame to contact the outer peripheral surface of the rotating jig. The first drive motor is installed in the support frame and rotates the drive roller. The elevating unit is installed under the support frame to avoid rotation interference of an under frame and lifts the support frame.
