The tool has a tool holder (20) comprising a recess at an end area, where the recess forms a retainer (22) for a winding insert (23). The retainer is opened towards an end of the holder, where the insert is inserted into the retainer and fastened to the holder in a detachable manner. The retainer and the insert are designed in such a manner that relative movement between the insert and the retainer is blocked when the insert is inserted into the retainer. The recess is formed as a groove extending over the end area of the holder, where the insert is designed as an elongated insert.
